get the picture????

oh and strech ALOT!|||In my class, katas are known as forms. For example, chonji, tangun, tosan, etc. We start out class stretching and warming up. We work on forms, sparring, onesteps (defensive situations)... we kick on the bags. We also participate in tournaments on weekends occasionally. Our instructor likes to keep it fairly informal and switch it up to keep us from burning out. I love it!! Hope this helps.|||Depends on the type of class and instructor.

Example: in mine we did, stretches, forms (poomse), strikes, self defense (from the front, rear, multiple opponents, etc.), fighting with weapons, and lots of cardio.
