Um how do I put my taekwondo uniform top on?

I have to have a Traditional v neck Taekwondo uniform for this weekends tournament and I have no idea how to get the top on correctly..whats that lil rubber string and the button on the other side for? Im a black belt in Shorin Ryu Karate and we never had any of this stuff Help please!|||The head student, Senpai or what ever they are called in your school should teach you, that or the next rank above you if you are a white belt than a yellow belt should teach you how to put one on properly, that is their duty as MA.

It is far easier for them to show you than for us to answer. fits like a robe with two strings on each side you tide together to hold it together and then put your belt on. Doing your belt is far more complex than putting the rest on usually.|||Well you just put it on like a t-shirt and loop hole of the rubbery string over the button. I believe you know how to wear your belt and pants. Hope you do well in the tournament. By the way, the traditional Taekwondo uniform is sumthing like Karate uniforms as the first Taekwondo federation was the International Taekwondo Federation (ITF). The v-neck Taekwondo uniforms (which is the only type of uniform manufactured by brands like Adidas and Nike) are the TKD uniforms used by World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) which started about some 20 years ago and is an Olympic Sport.|||just put it on like a normal top.

the piece of elastic and button should be on the back section of the top. once you have it on, bring the elastic/string around the front of your body (under the front section of the top) and attach it to the button.

This helps to hold the top together and on you if you are fighting or anything like that where you top might come out above you belt.|||The V neck is not traditional. It is the creation of the WTF. It goes over the head like a t-shirt , the little rubber string goes across the front of the body , under the top , and attaches to the button on the other side. It will hold the dobuk top together.

I am a 4th dan Tae Kwon Do instructor , and would have shown you this if you were my student.|||I just leave the string and button, you just pull the top on over your head. and tuck in the string, it%26#039;s for like to make the uniform tighter on you or something, but my belts over it, so I see no need to use it
